A cropped version of this quite creepy image, Portrait of Marilyn Monroe as Chairman Mao (1952) by Philippe Halsman and Salvador Dali, appears in issue 1 of the magazine alongside a reprint of Jean-Luc Godard’s filmmaking manifesto, ‘What is to Be Done?’ (1970).
